Beyond The Streets Exhibition, Kensington 2023
In February 2023 the Saatchi Gallery will house a huge street-art exhibition. ‘Beyond the Streets London makes it’s London debut on Friday 17th February and will run until Tuesday 9th May 2023 and it will showcase works by over one hundred and fifty artists.
‘Beyond the Streets’ may be visiting London for the first time, however it is not the first time the exhibition has been seen by the public. Previous exhibitions have taken place overseas in both Los Angeles and New York. Curated and directed by graffiti historian Robert Gastman the London installation turns its focus on the intrinsic role that the city has played in the instrumentation and evolution of street art as we know it today.
‘Beyond The Streets’ London is considered to be an ambitious exhibition spanning a one hundred and fifty person artist survey with the focal point being graffiti and guerrilla art tactics and the impression that this has made in the world of art. The street art exhibition at Saatchi Gallery London will include original pieces, archival fashion and immersive site-specific installations, photography and rare ephemera.
