Bonfire night in London boasts some spectacular firework displays, and Battersea Park’s fireworks are some of the best. Designed by award-winning pyrotechnicians, this breathtaking 22-minute display delights thousands of revellers each year; and, situated on the banks of the Thames, there couldn’t be a more picturesque backdrop for this dazzling light show!
This year’s display falls on Saturday 2nd November: gates open at 6pm, with the bonfire lit at 7:30pm and fireworks kicking off at 8pm. There is also an exclusive Afterparty, beginning immediately after the fireworks at 8:30pm and continuing until 1am, only open to Battersea Park Fireworks ticket-holders. This hugely popular event books up quickly, so be sure to grab your tickets while you can! Children under 10 enter for free – but you need to have booked them a free ticket.
With Battersea Power Station nearby, there’s plenty of scrumptious food and drink on offer, too: tuck into Mother’s signature sourdough pizza; warm up with an enormous bowl of steaming ramen from Tonkotsu; or indulge in cocktails and small plates at No29 Power Station West.
