Take your little monsters to ZSL London Zoo this October half-term for some Halloween-themed fun. From 19th to 27th October, enjoy a host of activities celebrating the more gruesome side of nature, from weird and wonderful creepy crawlies to pumpkin patch selfies!
Meet the fascinating animals we associate with Halloween: the B.U.G.S! building is bursting with lizards, snakes, and real dragons; encounter bats, snakes, beetles and owls; and head ‘In With the Spiders’ – if you’re brave enough! Discover these spooky creatures’ incredible talents, too, from those that can walk on ceilings and fly blindfolded, to others that glow in the dark or shoot venom from their eyes.
There’s also a host of special events and activities. Dare a ‘Grim Keeper’ tour to discover what happens when nature gets gruesome: included in the ticket price, this creepy tour will introduce you to some of the most unusual aspects of nature – and the truly brave can attempt some beastly challenges along the way! Keep an eye out for the animals celebrating Halloween, munching on tasty treats from hidden pumpkins in their enclosures; and enjoy animal talks and demonstrations with a seasonal twist.
With Halloween-themed creepy crafts and a delicious autumnal menu at The Terrace Restaurant, ZSL London Zoo provides fun for all the family this half-term. Located just a couple of miles away from us at the Indigo Paddington, it’s the perfect place to enjoy a spook-tacular Halloween!
